Reminder on Stamp Duty holiday

First time buyers need to be aware that the current Stamp Duty Holiday to exempt them from stamp duty up to £250,000 comes to an end on 24th March 2012.  Unless your house move completes by that date you could end up paying 1% of the purchase price in stamp duty.  The normal threshold is on purchases over £125,000.
