Conveyancing & Legals
MortgageFinders have access to over 150 solicitors across the UK through the leading online conveyancing referral system; "eConveyancer". They offer a complete online service to our customers and their commitment to providing a competitive price means that they will often be as much as 50% cheaper than by going direct.

There is no need to attend meetings and you will get your own password to check progress of your mortgage all the way from instruction onto completion. We will of course also keep you updated all the way. Click here for more information (PDF)

Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)
From 1st October 2008 an EPC will be required for all rental properties. It is the landlords responsibility to make the EPC available to all prospective tenants. MortgageFinders can help you obtain an EPC from a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor.

Home Information Packs (HIPs)
On 20th May 2010 the government announced that it was suspending the need for Home Information Packs (HIPs).  You will still need to commission an EPC (see above) before you market your property however.

Wills
Don’t have a will? This is one of the most important but often most overlooked financial product you should have – particularly if you have a family or loved ones who might lose out in the event of your premature death.
Don’t worry, we can put you in touch with a competitive will writer without the need to engage with the expense of a solicitor.

Secured Loans
A secured loan is sometimes referred to as a second charge against your property. Sometimes it is more cost effective and more prudent to take out a secured loan rather than a mortgage – for example if you need to raise additional capital but a remortgage is out of question because your existing loan is still liable to early repayment charges.
Here at MortgageFinders we can provide you with a competitive quote from a wide panel of secured loan providers.
